This past weekend we celebrated Aria’s first birthday! Since her birthday falls on the second day of winter, we followed the underlying theme of “Winter ONEderland”. I hope you enjoy some glimpses of her big day! The next few posts I’ll be going into more detail about the specifics from that day, so stay tuned for that!!
The Cake TableThis cake was by far the highlight of Aria’s birthday! Zehra Khan did an amazing job, and made my vision come to life!!A close up of the clock on the cake – it precisely states 12:47, which is the exact time Aria was born, once upon a time…Gotta have some pink frosted sugar cookies and string cheese decorated as snowmen! These little pink cups with white snowflakes were a great find at the DOLLAR STORE! Yes, the DOLLAR STORE! I just knew I had to incorporate them somewhere! This was the biggest DIY project i made for Aria’s birthday. It’s a ribbon backdrop that I created weeks before the party, so that on the day we could just hang it up and focus on the other million things we would have to do. Let me tell you, it was a blessing!! I will be doing a tutorial if you’re interested in making your own! Stay tuned! These were another DIY. I bought the O N E in white from Michaels. Wrapped the ‘O’ in pink tulle. Painted the ‘N’ pink and added gold polka dots. Painted the ‘E’ pink and added gold snowflakes. Tada! Instant pizzaz!Princess Aria
Being the newbie blogger that I am, I forgot to take a picture of the party favours, and the rest of the decorations (face palm). Check back for a tutorial on the DIY Ribbon Backdrop!
What a cutie!
